The Kings won the franchises first Stanley Cup last spring, but find themselves down 2-0 in this best-of-seven series after dropping two straight in St. Louis. Los Angeles went 16-4 during the 2012 postseason and never trailed a series at any point. That run included a four-game sweep of the Blues in the conference semifinals. L.A. dropped a 2-1 overtime decision against the fourth-seeded Blues in Game 1 on Tuesday and lost Thursdays second meeting late in regulation. Barret Jackmans first career playoff goal came with 50.4 seconds to play as St. Louis took another 2-1 decision to go ahead 2-0 in the series. The fifth-seeded Kings, however, hope to get something going on home ice in Games 3 and 4.
